Congratulations to all those who completed at the Virginia State Boys Gymnastics Championships this past weekend. Overall, our boys represented themselves and Capital well. We received the following team awards:
1st - Level 7
2nd - Level 4, Level 6, Level 8
3rd - Level 5
In all around results, we had the following top 3 finishers:
1st - Level 4 (8), Level 5 (8)
2nd - Level 4 (12+), Level 6 (8-9,10,11), Level 7 (10-11)
3rd - Level 4 (7), Level 6 (8-9), Level 8 (11-13)
In addition, we had the following individual event champions:
FX - Level 4 (7,8), Level 5 (8), Level 6 (11)
P - Level 5 (8), Level 7 (10-11), Level 8 (11-13)
R - Level 4 (7,8), Level 5 (8), Level 6 (11), Level 7 (10-11)
V - Level 6 (10)
PB - Level 4 (7,8), Level 8 (11-13)
HB - Level 4 (8), Level 5 (8), Level 7 (10-11)

"Wow!! What an incredible weekend of competition!
We had a first place team sweep for the compulsory levels. Our optional guys placed a respectable 3rd and I am pretty sure our club won the Sportsplex "Superflex" award for the club with the highest total regardless
of level (top 5 AA scores)
25 gymnasts earned a gold medal on at least one event and we had 20 gymnasts bring home a top 3 AA trophy."
